Celebrated Bass-Baritone Douglas Williams Returns to St. James's!

Since Doug Williams was last here at St. James's, his work was noted by a New York Times critic who wrote: “Mr. Williams unleashed the full power of his clear and incisive tone superbly on his own terms.” For all of us who have enjoyed hearing Doug in his 2022 and 2023 concerts, those words resonate, as precisely that clarity, power and rich musical personality have now come to fill our sanctuary so regularly and so memorably. Doug will return to sing for us on Thursday evening, February 22. His recital, which will begin at 7 PM, focuses this time on themes of creation, nature, ecstasy and light.
