St. James’s Choir is a multi-generational ensemble drawing members from within our parish and from the surrounding communities. The choir offers great choral music each Sunday at the 9.30AM Eucharist, sings Evensong throughout the year, leads Compline on Sunday evenings during Lent, and performs for special events. For the 2018-2019 season, some of these special events include the singing of Lessons and Carols for Advent, and a concert featuring choral works of Mendelssohn.

In 2016, the choir traveled to England and sang daily Evensong at Hereford Cathedral and Sunday services at Bristol Cathedral. The choir returns to England in July of 2019 for a one-week residency at Worcester Cathedral.

Rehearsals are held every Wednesday from 7.00 - 9.00PM, preceded by 6:30PM choir dinner, from the week after Labor Day through early June. To meet with the choirmaster and learn more about the program, please contact Vaughn Mauren at music@stjameswh.org.
